Geranium - Pelargonium

Geranium, commonly known as herb-Robert, or Robert’s geranium, is a common species of cranesbill native to Europe and parts of Asia, and North Africa. The plant has many vernacular names, including red robin, death come quickly, fox geranium, stinking Bob, squinter-pip (Shropshire) and crow’s foot. Geranium roots are distilled into an extract. Goldenseal - Hydrastis canadensis

Goldenseal is praised for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s often taken to prevent or treat upper respiratory tract infections and the common cold. It’s also used to treat skin disorders, lack of appetite, heavy or painful periods, sinus infections, indigestion, and other inflammatory or digestive disorders. However, research supporting its benefits is limited and generally weak.

Centella asiatica, also known as tiger grass, hydrocotyle Asiatica is a plant that’s prevalent in the swampy regions of India, China, Indonesia, and Australia. It is part of the Apiaceae family. A rampant, semi-aquatic plant, it is easily recognized by its fine, pinkish-green stems and rounded green leaves. When in flower, it bears small pink and green flowers which form a kind of umbrella over it. It’s even used to treat severe conditions like leprosy, lupus, ulcers, psoriasis, and eczema.

Guarana is primarily used to boost energy. Guarana can be found in many commercialised products including soft drinks, energy shots and capsules. It can also be found in herbal tea. Guarana is commonly touted for its ability to reduce fatigue, boost energy and aid learning and memory. It has also been linked to better heart health, weight loss, pain relief, healthier skin, lower cancer risk and a decreased risk of age-related eye diseases.
